About the Practice

Barry Rotman, MD

Dr Rotman was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Berkeley, California. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California at Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. He completed a fellowship in ambulatory care medicine at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital and Stanford University, where he remained on the teaching staff for an additional two years. He has been in private practice in Walnut Creek since 1997. In 2004, he completed a program in Medical Acupuncture at the University of California at Los Angeles. He left the John Muir Primary Care Group to open his own practice in July 2007.

Rhonda Temple

Practice Manager

With her eclectic blend of experience and education, Ms. Temple sets the tone for the most high-caliber patient experience at Barry Rotman, MD Inc. She has honed her skills in medical management with ten years of experience as an office manager of an ophthalmology practice in Santa Cruz and as marketing director for Pacific Eye Associates in San Francisco. Her interests and talents include training at the Le Cordon Bleu California Culinary Academy and Interior Design at San Jose State University. Event planning and wine sales in the Edna Valley near her home town of San Luis Obispo and award winning photography round out her expertise. Ms. Temple is dedicated to creating a medical office run with precision, warmth and exquisite good taste.

 


 

Tammi Musolf

Medical Assistant

Ms. Musolf brings a wealth of medical experience to her role as medical assistant at Barry Rotman, MD. Inc. She has been a medical writer for the internet site, E-How, creating patient education material. Her work with Diablo Clinical Research in Walnut Creek included administrative as well as patient care tasks such as blood draws. She honed her skills at deciphering physicians’ handwriting while a Medicare Auditor reviewing patient charts. Whether searching the internet for the best prescription drug prices or striving for the “perfect injection,” Ms. Musolf displays her dedication to patient care.
